|
Guyana is a Caribbean nation which is developing fast, but still has many third world problems. There is a considerable need for secondary school teachers. Most of the development in Guyana is along the coastline where each small village has its own secondary school. Guyana is a country which has suffered from thirty years of neglect, lack of investment and a population drain. It has a mixed population of Africans and Indians. There are huge areas of primary forest and savannah which are largely uninhabited, and a coastal strip of land planted with rice and sugar cane. Visit the Project Trust Website: |
